Bikes and Brews

Did you know that 22 Veterans commit suicide every day? That number is alarming to many, especially to the employees at RideNow Concord & Catawba Brewery. After reading this statistic and learning that there is a nonprofit organization that focuses on Stopping Soldier Suicide, they knew that they wanted to do something to make a difference. Thus, Bikes and Brews was born. This is the first year RideNow Concord is hosting this huge bike night at Catawba Brewery and locals are ecstatic to be apart of it. This event is far more than Bikes and Brews. There will be food available from Rock Top BBQ, giveaways, live music and Riki Rachtman from Riki's Ride* will be using this event as one of his "stops" on his 2018 ride. Catawba has even brewed a small batch of Exclusive Pineapple Jalapeño IPA called the "RideNow IPA" that will be served at the event as well. They will be donating a dollar from each pint of the RideNow IPA sold to Riki's Ride & Stop Soldier Suicide. RideNow Concord will also be selling limited edition T-Shirts and will be donating all of the profit from the shirts to the non-profit.

RideNow Concord's General Manager, Steve Kolicko stated, "It is our hope that with this event we will provide not only an enjoyable night to bikers & locals, but to also dedicate the event to bring the community together and raise awareness to Stop Soldier Suicide. This is such a great non-profit and we are happy that Riki Rachtman allowed us to be a part of his ride and gave us the opportunity to raise money for those in need."
